Description: What does it mean when a patient presents for their “annual physical” or “wellness visit?” In this session, we will break down the elements of each type of annual visit, including Welcome to Medicare, AWVs, and preventive visits. We will also review additional services that may be provided, including advance care planning, SDOH risk assessment, and preventive screenings. CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and modifiers will also be covered.
