Speaker: Kathy Kuntz, CPC, CRC, CPCD is a Regional Director of Client Services with Bill Dunbar and Associates, LLC (BDA). She has over 25 years of experience in the medical billing and coding field. She is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) accredited by the American Academy of Professional Coders with specialty credentials in Risk Adjustment (CRC) and Dermatology (CPCD).

She began her career working for a large medical billing company in Indianapolis where she held management and executive positions including Vice President of Client Relations and Director of Emergency Medicine Coding and Billing. She later was employed as a Billing and Coding Consultant with a large hospital affiliated consulting firm where she provided coding analysis and documentation education for numerous providers and specialties. She has also managed all coding, billing, and collections for a large Dermatology practice.

Kathy has extensive experience in CPT, HCPCS and ICD coding, HCC Risk Adjustment, documentation improvement, chart review analysis, provider coding, documentation and education, revenue cycle management, provider credentialing, monthly statistical reporting, and compliance.

She has provided services for numerous specialties including: Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cardiology, Hospitalists, Gastroenterology, Podiatry, Behavioral Health, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, and Ambulance providers.
