Non-Traditional Career Panel

Description: Most health information students are aware of the traditional health information career pathways.  This discussion panel is meant to introduce non-traditional career pathways. Hear from three health information professionals and their pathway to their non-traditional roles. They will share why they consider their current position non-traditional; what additional education and/or experience was required for their position; what advice they would give a new HIM professional that wants to obtain their first job in HIM; and they share thoughts on if they ever imaged they would be in this role at the beginning of their career.
