Speaker: Brandi Moody, CPC, CRC, CPMA, CPB, AAPC Approved Instructor began her Revenue Cycle Career with Reid Health in 2011 by providing administrative support in the ambulatory setting.  Her experience with front office processes led to an interest in medical billing and coding, and she subsequently obtained her Certified Professional Coding (CPC) credential in 2015. 

After gaining two years of coding experience with Otolaryngology, Primary Care, and Evaluation and Management, as well as some billing duties like denials management and accounts receivable, Brandi went on to earn her Certified Risk Coding (CRC) credential in 2017.   From there, she managed a team of Risk Adjustment coders, implemented prospective HCC capture processes, and educated providers on documentation improvement. 

In 2018, Brandi added three credentials for a total of five certifications through the AAPC—CPC (Coding), CRC (Risk Adjustment), CPMA (Auditing), CPB (Billing), and AAPC Approved Instructor.  She has also previously held the Education Officer position for her local AAPC chapter in Richmond, Indiana.

As part of her employment with Visionary Health Group since 2017, Brandi has delivered revenue cycle consulting and auditing services, as well as coding certification instruction.  She is an expert in Hierarchical Condition Category Codes, Risk Adjustment, Population Health, Evaluation and Management, Revenue Cycle Processes, Otolaryngology, Primary Care, Billing, Auditing, and Regulatory Compliance.
