The Weight and Imperfections of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Description: There is no natural substance harder than diamonds. Many people feel this way about diversity, equity and inclusion. Diamonds are formed under tremendous pressure and can take up to 10 years of searching through volcanic deposits before they are found.  Just like culture changes, it takes time – but it’s worth it.

Important topics to be covered include:

  • Understanding the terminology diversity, equity & inclusion
  • Recognizing our biases and knowing what to do with them
  • Fear of saying the wrong thing
  • How to have candid and open conversations
